Sunday 2 November Catcliffe Flash Through the 1980s I stopped at Catcliffe Flash daily on my way to and from work. Pre-dawn through winter there was the strange phenomenon of a Black-headed Gull gathering, this could number up to several thousand gulls in the 80s. It still happens to this day.
